Each professional field of nursing, including adult (general), children’s, learning disabilities, mental health and the midwifery profession, is examined by NMC. Part one is a multiple choice examination -Test of competence part one: the computer based test (CBT)

If you’ve not completed the CBT within six months of completing your eligibility it will expire and you’ll need to complete the online selfassessment again.
